Good morning from a cafe in Allentown, Pennsylvania! I’m chasing a semi-local severe weather setup this morning over the Northeastern region ahead of what’ll likely be another trip out Midwest midweek.

You know that you’re craving for storms when you’re seriously considering a 12 hour drive west to Illinois for a cold-core setup.

It is currently quarter of 6 AM writing this, so please excuse any pre-coffee errors. Last time I wrote, things were looking rather favorable in my opinion out towards western Pennsylvania into Eastern OH for some supercells and a potential tornado or two.

Starting something new this season where I write out my storm chasing forecasts in order to both help myself organize my thoughts and provide insight into my process for selecting storm chasing targets.
